RoadTrip July 27 - August 10

“A collection of new paintings inspired by the Great Canadian Summer Roadtrip vacations of our youth. Summer vacations as a kid always meant there was some kind of road trip involved. With vast distances between destinations, the summer roadtrip always seemed to include cheesy motels and their enticing pools, games in the car, and stops for ice cream and fast food. Shouts of “Are we there yet!?” from the back seat of a car without air conditioning, or passing the time with in-car games, this solo show of new paintings reflects the nostalgia and memories of the Great Canadian summer roadtrip, to Prince Edward County’s beaches, or places beyond …"

Andrew will be attending the gallery reception on July 27th from 3:00 - 5:00pm at Mad Dog Gallery, located in the picturesque Prince Edward County.

Please note that due to the limited availability of Andrew King's artwork, visitors attending the opening at 10am in person will have the first priority to purchase his paintings. For those unable to attend, all images will be posted on our website, www.maddoggallery.ca, later in the morning, and can be purchased by phone at 613-476-7744.
